Contract Tracking/Mini-PEER is a contract storage and tracking module inside PEER for use by groups that are doing specialized contract processing which does not run through one of the two central processing offices (Office of Contracts Management, Supply Chain Services).  Mini-PEER contract numbers have a "CT" prefix.

Mini-PEER provides basic contract documentation and process tracking, end date expiration notice emails, e-approvals and signature routing.

Permissions to Mini-PEER are more strict than OCM or Suppy Chain.  You must have an explicit permission to Mini-PEER to even see the module on your Home Screen.

Each group using Mini-PEER must be set up as a contract "owner".  Mini-PEER permissions work in such a way that you can only see contracts belonging to the "owner" department(s) you have permission to. There are over two dozen groups using Mini PEER to house their self-processed contracts.

For example, Privacy Office uses Mini-PEER to house Business Associate Agreements (BAA) that they process.  Privacy Office can only see their own contracts in Mini-PEER.

Mini-PEER is NOT a substitute for going through SCS or OCM for the types of agreements those offices process.  It should also NOT be used to house shadow copies of contracts in SCS or OCM.

To be set up as an Owner, you must have a business case related to self-processing of contracts in some specialized way.  E.g. Privacy Office, Space & Facilities, Pharmacy Services, the VHS health services subsidiaries, etc.

PEER team is happy to engage in a conversation and demo for any group that thinks their business case would be a good fit for Mini-PEER. Contact us via email at peer-vumc@vumc.org.

If you believe you should have view access to contracts that are already in Mini-PEER, you can request permissions using the link below.
